Message from the Chairman

Bitumen India Forum requested a few relaxations for Bitumen Industry in the budget.
(1) Lowering the GST rate on HSN Codes of Bitumen from 18% to 12% being a key ingredient of Infrastructure development.
(2) A separate Budgetary provision be made  for establishing exclusive training institutes for developing best practices in Bitumen Industry, which encourages researches, skill development for better operations and safe practices. 
(3) Budgetary provisions to be made to encourage green bitumen like incentives on Carbon Credits so that import of Bitumen can be reduced and India can become AtmaNirbhar in Bitumen.
(4) Budgetary provisions be made for enhancing Bitumen testing facilities to ensure best quality.
