Nitin Gadkari reviews progress of highway projects in Haryana
To accelerate the development of highway infrastructure in Haryana, several road projects related to the NHAI will now be expedited. A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. The meeting was also attended by CM Nayab Singh Saini and Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Harsh Malhotra.
Among various projects that were discussed included the Kherki Daula Toll Plaza, new ring road for Kurukshetra, connecting Jewar International Airport with Faridabad-Ballabgarh Bypass from Mohna, Rohtak-Jind four-lane highway, Jind-Gohana four-lane highway, Delhi-Amritsar Expressway, Ambala-Kala Amb highway, and under Bharatmala project, six-lane Ambala-Shamli highway of Bareli-Ludhiana Corridor, Ambala and Karnal ring roads, four-lane Ismailabad-Ambala highway in Ambala-Kotputli corridor, and Pinjore bypass.
